AIM OF THE COMPETITION
The All-Ukrainian Computer Science Competition "Funny Science" is aimed at developing students 'creative thinking, students' interest in computer science, the use of information technologies in education, support for creative teachers and their students.
RULES FOR CONDUCTING THE COMPETITION
Students of 5th-11th forms of schools of Ukraine take part in the competition, there are no restrictions on the number of participants from one school.
Students from grades 5-11 are competing in categories without age groups.
. At the time of registration, the participant must be a student of the educational institution.
. Students can take part in the competition individually or in a team of two students. The team can be created by two participants who are students of one school.
The registration of the contestants is carried out by a teacher. One student or one team can register only one project in the competition. One teacher can register as many as possible members (teams).
. When receiving the prize the team is awarded with the corresponding prize. (One set of prizes for the team).
The participant shall not violate the rights of any person and organization.
. Registration and admission of projects to the competition are held until March 4, 2019, at www.veselanauka.org.
9The finalists will be announced on April 1, 2019 at www.veselanauka.org.
10. The protection of final works will be held on April 20, 2019 in the premises of the school - Lyceum "Chornomorsky" at the address: street. Varnenskya, 3-A
11. Announcement of the results and rewarding of the winners will take place on April 21, 2019.
12. The organizers provide 3 meals a day and a sightseeing tour for participants from other cities.
CATEGORY
Animation "Funny Science"
Participants should create two-dimensional vector animations using any two-dimensional vector animation editor (Adobe Flash, Anime Studio, etc.).
The animation is created on subjects of the studied subjects, the presentation should be interesting and fun, the duration is not more than 10 minutes.
Animation can be in Ukrainian, Russian and English.
Short film "Never Give Up!"
The participants create short amateur films, filmed on any medium on the theme: "Never give up!".
You need to create a video (short film: 1 - 5 minutes), where you can convey your opinion on the theme with visual and sound effects using popular video editing tools like After Effects, Sony Vegas, Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut , Imovie, Pinnacle Studio, Ulead Video Studio and others.
Participants send a link to their movie, posted on one of the open platforms on the Internet (Youtube, Vimeo, Myspace, etc.), or the video file itself.
Graphics "My Dad is My Hero!"
- Participants create a poster entitled "My dad is my hero".
Any raster or vector graphic editor (Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Photo Filter, etc.) is used.
When creating a poster, you can use Ukrainian, Russian or English.
"Reflection!" Photo!
The participants make photos on the subject: "Reflection!"
The photo must be in .jpg or .png format, the frame size must be at least 1280x1024 pixels (the camera is larger than 1.3 megapixels, corresponding to the size of the photo 13x18 cm).
The photos must be copyright, that is, they are made by the direct participants of the competition.
Applications for mobile devices
The participants create an application for the mobile device. –
Appendices can be created on any subject, however, in the selection, educational applications will be given preference. –
When creating an application, you can use Ukrainian, Russian or English.
Robotics
Requirements for work
The dimensions of the robot do not exceed 30x30x30 cm.
. The robot can be created on any platform.
. You can control the robot using a remote control or any gadget.
And the stage of the competition (qualifying round). Design a firefighter's job to perform various rescue tasks and send video - protecting your robot.
I stage of the competition (final). 1. Test your work in the competition.
Carry out a rescue operation in the forest where the fire occurred.
Expect the size of the field and object placement at the end of March.
AWARD OF FINALISTS:
Awarding the winners will take place on April 21, 2019.
. All finalists will be awarded diplomas.
. Students who have taken the first 3 places in each category will receive the following gifts:
